Our story continues

Here at Johnny Loves Rosie our ethos for over 15 years has been simply to create beautiful accessories for women all over the world to love. You could say we have a bit of an addiction to lovely things and in order to feed this habit we are constantly looking for the next “little something” to put a smile on our faces.

We have always drawn our inspiration from antique and vintage paraphernalia and work our Johnny Loves Rosie magic to create something fabulous; we can be found digging around flea markets here in the UK and abroad for something beautiful with a story to tell. Inevitably we will want it ourselves and of course we will always need to buy a bigger travel bag to bring everything home again (hence why we started designing them ourselves). So dedicated to the pursuit of loveliness are we that all of our items are handmade, not only by our manufacturers but also by ourselves.

As creative types we like to be able to understand how things are made and it is not uncommon to find us stitching together a hair piece or threading up some beads. We are very fussy, so of course we research and design everything ourselves from a simple jewellery component, the printed lining to a bag and even the colouration of one of our famous silk corsages, as these are all hand painted and dyed our library of botanical imagery comes in very handy (as does a selection of blendable colouring pencils).

Every time new samples arrive it feels like Christmas morning, that is how much our collections mean to us and we hope you like them just the same. So why not make yourself a nice pot of tea (and perhaps one of those biscuits you have hiding behind the breakfast cereal) settle back and have a look at what loveliness we have for you.

Don’t forget, we only have a small team so we are all very hands on to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible. We will wrap your selection for you and make sure it’s done with care.
