Crafting Sustainable Bags with Purpose

A Look into the Creation Process of Our Cult Bags

All our designs are created here in our JLR office by Myself (Megan) and Victoria (CEO). Each design is created organically to be aesthetically beautiful while also being functional, we often spend days at a time hauled up in our office discussing fabrics, colour ways, pocket and zips until we come up with an incredible design that we know our customers will love.

| 1 | Materials

To make our Award Winning Luxury Vegan Leather products, we use innovative animal and cruelty-free alternatives that look and feel luxurious. They have an environmental impact that is up to 24 times lower than animal leathers! A variety of high quality vegan materials are used in the creation of our products, including PU which is a biodegradable material, making it less harmful to our planet.

Having a sustainable, vegan product is very important to us. Our luxury bags and accessories are intended to be a part of your wardrobe for many years, not just one season. That is why we perform several quality control tests on all new materials and styles for each season.

More recently, we are sampling fruit and plant fibres which will help us expand our sustainable collections even further. Sustainable Nylon and rubber are always sourced during our design process and are something we are currently looking into bringing in for a new range

| 2 | Factory

It is key for us to work with suppliers whose practices align with our values. We are involved with every step of the process with our suppliers and their factories, we care about how our products are made and who makes them.

We have built a long-term partnership with our suppliers and we would like to bring a positive change to the industry we operate in. Our factory is compliant with SMETA, BSCI and WCA and are actively involved with developing environmentally friendly solutions to ensure we are reducing our carbon footprint.

| 3 | Personalisation

Once our final designs make their way back to our office we all unload and unpack these ready to be personalised. Becky is the head of personalisation and gets to work creating all the beautiful orders. Each item has a final quality check before Sam is able to proceed with hand personalising and stamping or embroidering the order. As every product is monogrammed by hand, whilst the utmost care is taken, there may be incidences where two embossed bags may not be identical. Due to the nature of the hot foiling being hand-stamped we cannot guarantee the same outlook every time, therefore every piece will differ slightly. (This just makes it more unique to you!) Due to the texture of our bags, there may be variations in the foil coverage on each bag.

| 4 | Packaging

As with our accessories we aim to be as conscious as possible with the materials we use in our packaging and we are constantly looking for new ways to minimise the use of single-use plastic and paper. All our packaging is either made of recycled materials or can be recycled to limit any unsustainable waste. We have worked to create beautiful care cards and inserts that can be kept and reused

We are on a mission to ensure 100% recycled and sustainable accessories are accessible to everyone and this is a mission that we are constantly working on with some super exciting projects coming really soon.
